Effectory, European market leader for Employee Listening Solutions, has appointed Volker Grümmer as its new Managing Director Germany, effective February 1, 2023. The move underlines the Dutch-born company’s ambition to further accelerate its expansion in the DACH region.

Extensive experience in the tech industry
Grümmer joins Effectory coming from Cognism, a sales intelligence platform, where he was Vice President Central & Eastern Europe, responsible for driving their business in several markets. Prior to that, he held senior positions with well-known brands such as Adobe, Oracle and IBM.
With more than 25 years of sales experience in the technology industry, Volker Grümmer is the ideal candidate for the position of Managing Director Germany at Effectory. In this role, he will be tasked with strengthening the position of the employee listening provider in the DACH region and driving growth in this market. This is one of the company’s key objectives for 2023, not only due to the acquisition Munich-based investor Maguar Capital last year.
Growth potential in the DACH market
In 2022, Effectory has already achieved global sales growth of more than 26 percent and has identified further growth potential in the DACH market. The new appointment is thus part of the company’s strategic development, which will be driven by recently appointed CEO Christian de Waard.
Furthermore, Sander van Gelderen, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), has taken on the position of Chief Product Officer (CPO) in addition to his existing role.
